Grab Your Girls and Get Away For Some Relaxing Down Time
Inspiration for A Luxury Ladies Weekend on the Mornington Peninsula
The Mornington Peninsula really is the best place to go for a ladies/girls escape. It is close enough to Melbourne that you can go for a weekend without having to fly anywhere, yet if feels a world away once you get there. We believe time away with your favourite friends creates balance and harmony in your life. Doesn't everyone need a change of scenery and a break away from the work/kids routine, even if just for a few days? A few days to be yourself...not just Mum, partner, chef, taxi driver, housekeeper....yep
Here are a few activities we thought would make a memorable girls time together....what do you think?
Food, Wine & Chocolate!!
The Mornington Peninsula is home to many award-winning wineries and high class cuisine. With more than 50 cellar doors specialising in cool climate wines, in particular Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, there is always somewhere new to visit and new wines to discover. Why not take an organised tour? We can arrange for you to be picked up from your holiday shack and taken for tastings at 4-6 wineries and then lunch at Max's at Red Hill Estate. Perhaps finish up with a visit to an exquisite chocolatier? Of course tastings are a must!

Make a night to remember Cocktails!!
Here is great list of easy to make cocktails for that perfect girls night in. The Moscow Mule is my favourite.
For something a bit different the Bass and Flinders Distillery at Redhill do fantastic gin masterclasses, where you can learn to design your own gin. You can even book your own private group class. Check out their website for more details.

If you want to get out and get some fresh air and are feeling energetic there are some amazing walks on the Peninsula
For the energetic The Two Bays Walk is the longest continuous walking track on the Mornington Peninsula. The walk stretches 26km through a diverse range of Mornington Peninsula landscape. The whole walk can be completed in a day for walking enthusiasts, or split up into multiple smaller walks for those who want to enjoy it in smaller sections. Start in McCrae and finish up in Bushrangers Bay at Cape Schanck.
For a lighter walk, Coppins Track Walk starts at the kiosk at the Sorrento Ocean Beach, is a three kilometre guided historic walk that winds along the cliff tops to Diamond Bay tracing the history of the area over the last 100 years. The track follows sections of the original 1800s limestone paved footpath. Numbered pegs along the track correspond with the Coppins Track park note and lead you to several lookouts with spectacular coastal scenery. Takes about an hour.
